I managed to lose a cruiser to a T1 frig on my second day in EVE in losec, and I have avoided it thus far. The tortuously long skill plan is finally reaching the point of combat readiness, and hopefully I'll be meeting more people in more places in a couple weeks, outside of the paranoid silence of hisec. I really, really do not know how to high sec. I'm constantly almost attacking things. I'm startled all of the time by the ships around me. Every time I see battleships land on gates I'm trying to figure out what is about to go down."<br /><br />See Sugar, these are the little gems your approach to blogging delivers. So much of Hi-Sec is about navigating the noise and (if one chooses) uncovering the web of local relationships (who's so & so's "neutral" RR?, who's so & so's command link spinning alt?, who's so & so's scout? . . .). While there's nothing unique about such things, Hi-Sec has it's own unique flavor.<br /><br />Mind your PDQs and refrain from being an appealing target and you can pretty much rely on the Authorities to protect you. Decide to look for trouble and trouble will find you right quick.
