Rolling in Plans

Respect is one of those interesting words that is much larger than its physical volume. Composed of seven letters, it is an average word composed of many of the most common characters in the English Alphabet. Yet, entire civilizations have risen because of it, religions have been founded, and life and death created over it. Being much larger then it is, it seems odd that respect is so easily understood. It is not given as much as it is wanted. It highly desired but hard to obtain. It is malleable in form as well. Respect is quite interesting. I believe that many people seek it. One does not have to be liked to be respected. It does not mean praise. It is a powerful word.

You are not supposed to tell people that you do things other than PvP and that you PvP. I've been told that people may not respect you. I've never been overly good at remember what I am and am not supposed to do. I did PvP if that helps. I was out in fleets over the weekend and I shot stuff and everything.

My capital ship building partner wandered back, using his ten free days given to him. This freed up some of the hull blueprints I've wanted access to and I've been gleefully making copies. The changes in Crius of freeing up the ability to copy has changed my world. Knowing I was heading somewhat this way once Crius was released, I've been steadily making copies for a few months now. With capital ship components that is and is not a lot of copies.

It is a lot of copies because its hoards and delicious hoards of them. However, it isn't super impressive because capital stuff takes a while to copy. But, copies. Copies! All mine! Ahahhahahahahahahahaha!

Why copies? For personal use. We have stuff we build together, but he has been away from the game so I've been making copies for myself. The stuff we build together is neat and organized and sells properly bringing in a steady income. When I am released on my own I squeal in delight and roll about in my blue prints going, "Ahahahaha building stuff!!" I then run off and buy things while cackling gleefully. I've been using downtime, productively to

I need an Archon for Chella. In the new world of gate jumping carriers, I suspect I'm going to need more than one Archon for Chella. I think that we will start seeing carriers and dreads treated more like bigger ships to use doing stuff now that they can go through gates. I am reminded of my words during the veteran player retention at the summer summit, when I went into how vets want to use their big toys (capitals) to do things.

I've never had a particular desire to take a carrier into battle. In the back of my mind, I debate how expensive the damn thing is. But, its become part of my life. I have the character trained into these skills. I still tend to sit there and think that these are not activities for me to do.

But, what are activities for me to do? I still have my first Daredevil. I've never flown it. I somehow settled that I could fly T2 frigates but not pirate frigates. Now I'm planning to not just build a singular Archon for a project but to get myself set up to replace my Archon after I lose it.  It should be fun.

Ten free days? What is this, some incentive given to inactive players? If so, I'd like to know how to get in on that, I have a few friends who could benefit from it.

I'll assume you meant "squeal," but if not, then I suppose two Sugars would be a good thing. ;)

Maybe one day!

It was a random question that I knew the answer of. I have 'Sugar' as a keyword so it highlights green and catches my attention. This made me chuckle. Maybe I'll have to go and see what it is like to shoot a ship one day? I could not help but smile. Basi suggested that I put my Titan killmail in my bio and assert my badassery. I figure, naw. It was a roll of the dice that landed me that kill mail. It doesn't define me as a person. Bios are interesting. The idea of a biography is a way to personalize your account. You can learn a lot about a person by what they choose to put in their bio

Taboo Questions

Let us talk contentious things. What about high sec? When will CCP pay attention to high sec and those that cannot spend their time in dangerous space?  This is somewhat how the day started, sparked by a question from an anonymous poster. Speaking about high sec, in general, is one of the hardest things to do. The amount of emotion wrapped around the topic is staggering. There are people who want to stay in high sec and nothing will make them leave. There are people who want no one to stay in high sec and wish to cripple everything about it. There are people in between, but the two extremes are large and emotional in discussion. My belief is simple. If a player wishes to live in high sec, I do not believe that anything will make them leave that is not their own curiosity. I do not believe that we can beat people out of high sec or destroy it until they go to other areas of space. Sometimes, I think we forget that every player has the option to not log back in. We want them to log

Conflicted

Halycon said it quite well in a comment he left about the skill point trading proposal for skill point changes. He is conflicted in many different ways. So am I. Somedays, I don't want to be open minded. I do not want to see other points of view. I want to not like things and not feel good about them and it be okay. That is something that is denied me for now. I've stated my opinion about the first round of proposals to trade skills. I don't like them. That isn't good enough. I have to answer why. Others do not like it as well. I cannot escape over to their side and be unhappy with them. I am dragged away and challenged about my distaste.  Some of the people I like most think the change is good. Other's think it has little meaning. They want to know why I don't like it. When this was proposed at the CSM summit, I swiveled my chair and asked if they realized that they were undoing the basic structure that characters and game progression worked under. They said th
