Just the Morning Chores

For reasons that do not make a large amount of sense to me, I stayed up much to late a few nights working on market orders. I'm sure that the decision came from being tired. Sunday night was the end of my work weekend and the start of my days off. Getting stuff started then to clear the way for the morning makes sense. Once exhausted everything evens out and starts making sense in fantastic and unrealistic ways. I'm sure I will find amazing pricing mistakes in the near future.

I've been contemplating my markets of late and how they have evolved into their own game play. I think that I started to lean back on them so much because I could do them on a limited time table. I really do need to get out of the station a bit more and try  some other ways to make ISK. Right now, my undock time is spent out fighting which is not a bad thing.

I resubbed one of my accounts the other day. That character is training into logistics, I think. I logged her in and found, to my horror, that she was in Aridia. I burst into tears and then worked at getting her out. I was suddenly reminded of the pain in the ass that moving supplies in and out of that area, was. I then shipped her off to my new high sec base and as part of my new cyno chain.

With that done, I spent the morning running through cynos. That has become many mornings.

Have you ever had to move Strontium Calthrates? The stuff is so bulky. When using a freighter it is not much to think about. Maybe switch our a tank mod for an expander. Then... then you get to your jump freighter and suddenly there isn't enough room. Damn stront. Damn it.

Along with some hulls and other things I ran through four jump freighter loads of cargo over the court of twoish hours. Basically each side has a cyno and then my jump fatigue gains and has to be whittled down. It was not bad but it was not the carefree system I had before. I'd have finished the entire thing in less then an hour but I'm still feeling out jump fatigue.

Sugar is now resupplied with a few things as well as a new, shiny Phobos to chase around all of the supers and capitals that have been zipping around. The market is topped off and that is a rather good thing. Snuff Box recently formed an alliance and invited Ice Fire Warriors to try life outside of Minmatar Faction Warfare. Snuff is an EU heavy corporation and growing an off time zone is very, very hard. With so many new people in town I really wanted to top off Sujarento's market with a lot of the basics that people would need and not have after moving.

I also have a dreadnought in build for someone. I'm quiet excited about getting that taken care of.  It is a nice puzzle box of a project. Next should be Chella's Archon. I'm probably going to move her over to Snuff Box once I start committing her to the field. I am reminded that she still needs a set of slave implants.

Which reminds me that I need to make some ISK. Bleh. I will say that is one thing the CSM does do. It eats into a lot of that casual time I'd be in space, ignoring the world making ISK. So, I think I'll go and work on my Pod and Planet submission instead.

  1. Hey! imagine how it is for us that live there (Aridia). It's not THAT bad...

If I may suggest . . . beg for ISK. You're rather popular around here. Probably net you a tidy sum. In addition, we all would get the pleasure of seeing you beg. Hell, I'd probably make it my screen saver!

Don't we all. I recently heavily invested in multiple BPO and some components for tech2 manufacture. Plenty of asset just lacking liquid.

Still, I have: hulls + time = income.

Since the introduction of Industry Interface, I have enjoyed the need to balance short term R&D against some of the long term. Cruiser and BC are slowly clocking over while various drones or munitions are a 48hr. Part of the pleasure of the business day - is at the end. "deliver jobs". What new thing can I try to make now!?

    1. I'm really crappy at making ISK from things like that. I have terrible habits of selling everything to people at cost if I build it.

Maybe one day!

It was a random question that I knew the answer of. I have 'Sugar' as a keyword so it highlights green and catches my attention. This made me chuckle. Maybe I'll have to go and see what it is like to shoot a ship one day? I could not help but smile. Basi suggested that I put my Titan killmail in my bio and assert my badassery. I figure, naw. It was a roll of the dice that landed me that kill mail. It doesn't define me as a person. Bios are interesting. The idea of a biography is a way to personalize your account. You can learn a lot about a person by what they choose to put in their bio

Taboo Questions

Let us talk contentious things. What about high sec? When will CCP pay attention to high sec and those that cannot spend their time in dangerous space?  This is somewhat how the day started, sparked by a question from an anonymous poster. Speaking about high sec, in general, is one of the hardest things to do. The amount of emotion wrapped around the topic is staggering. There are people who want to stay in high sec and nothing will make them leave. There are people who want no one to stay in high sec and wish to cripple everything about it. There are people in between, but the two extremes are large and emotional in discussion. My belief is simple. If a player wishes to live in high sec, I do not believe that anything will make them leave that is not their own curiosity. I do not believe that we can beat people out of high sec or destroy it until they go to other areas of space. Sometimes, I think we forget that every player has the option to not log back in. We want them to log

And back again

My very slow wormhole adventure continues almost as slowly as I am terminating my island in Animal Crossing.  My class 3 wormhole was not where I wanted to be. I was looking for a class 1 or 2 wormhole. I dropped my probes and with much less confusion scanned another wormhole. I remembered to dscan and collect my probes as I warped to the wormhole. I even remembered to drop a bookmark, wormholes being such good bookmark locations later. My wormhole told me it was a route into low sec. I tilted my head. How circular do our adventures go. Today might be the day to die and that too is okay. That mantra dances in the back of my head these days. Even if someone mocks me, what does that matter? Fattening someone's killboard is their issue not mine. So I jumped through and found myself in Efa in Khanid, tucked on the edge of high sec and null sec. What an interesting little system.  Several connections to high sec. A connection to null sec. This must be quite the traffic system.    I am f
