The Seeds of Dissention

[Warning: There is nothing productive about this post. Please insert tongue in to cheek...]

It seems that my unwilling muse has attempted to sow the seeds of dissention between THC2 and 7-2. With swift words he struck at Wex, leaving him puzzled and confused.

[12:15:46] Havaclue > Hey Wex, Kalek Astroth says you guys are a bunch of douche bags.
[12:16:05] Havaclue > He says that THC is better than you.
[12:16:10] Wex Manchester > First you're going to have to tell me who that is.
[12:16:27] Havaclue > he's the loud mouth here in Oddelulf
[12:16:30] Wex Manchester > And why I should care.
[12:16:43] Wex Manchester > He's correct, but that's beside the point. :)
[12:16:52] Havaclue > It doesn't matter to me, I just thought I'd pass on the info
We have no idea who Kalek is. Is the unwilling muse of Oddelulf attempting to turn THC2 and 7-2 against each other by suggestion that random people we have never met might be indulging in smack talk about us? Will Wex become so enraged and envious that he turns and chases down THC2 to prove himself? Will this cause a diplomatic relationship that nukes our relationship and causes a pirate war across the space lanes?
(image stolen from Wex) Wex cruised past and a diplomatic incident was avoided. But curiosity we left behind...

The random things said in local fascinate me. I've heard a lot about negatives about TEST Alliance for example. The members of TEST I have met and known have been reasonable normal people. The ones that have occasionally wandered into Molden Heath, the same.

Altaen was out killing all the things. This excites him greatly. He wound up in a system with Test and a fourty man gang on the station. Uncowed, and needing to return home for a fleet, he engaged them in a conversation. The result was that he wound up escaping in his Myrmidon and we discovered new words for us to puzzle over.
[22:56:06] Faife > SHRAMEFUR DISPRAY
[22:59:22] Faife > myrmidon: coward's ship
[22:59:25] Faife > a novel
[22:59:29] Faife > by altaen
[22:59:42] Altaen > :)
[22:59:50] Karis > that's a warlord of the fleet you're speaking to
[22:59:53] Karis > have some respect
[22:59:56] Altaen > Indeed
[23:00:02] Sadleric > ### THUNDERDOME ONE MINUTE WARNING ###<br>SHOOT PURPLES. NO PODS. LAST SUBCAPITAL STANDING GETS 100M ISK.  G-0Q86 LOGISTICS UNDOCK (AMARR STATION)
[23:00:02] Altaen > I'll cut you guys a deal
[23:00:09] Sadleric > That ought to get some neutrals out.
[23:00:11] Altaen > I will warp to the KLMT gate at zero
[23:00:17] Altaen > If you let me off station.
[23:00:19] Sadleric > THUNDERDOME GREEN THUNDERDOME GREEN
[23:00:21] Aegan Tarn > can we bring caps?
[23:00:21] Faife > we'll cut you a deal:
[23:00:22] Altaen > You will probably catch me.
[23:00:23] Faife > shut up
[23:00:25] Altaen > And we will brawl
[23:00:28] Faife > that's the deal
[23:00:36] Skylif Beria > Give me 250 mil and I will let you pass.
[23:00:39] Karis > that sounds like a pretty good deal
[23:00:43] Altaen > You can even set up a bubble first
[23:00:43] Karis > but i think i have a better one
[23:00:45] Altaen > Go anchor it
[23:00:53] Karis > how about i give you the finger, and you give me my telephone call.
[23:01:22] Altaen > I am honourable solo warrior, but it doesn't mean I want to fight on grid with your Niddy
[23:01:40] Faife > no you're not you're a dude who talks too much
[23:01:43] Faife > we're now playing the quiet game
[23:02:38] Altaen > Thank you good honourable warriors
[23:02:44] Faife > QUIET GAME
[23:02:49] Faife > YOU SHITLITERATE FUCKGOBLIN
[23:02:50] Faife > JESUS
[23:02:51] Altaen > Now we shall do glorious battal
[23:03:02] Altaen > Hey
[23:03:06] Altaen > You guys aren't here??
[23:03:13] Faife > shut
Confused but safe, Altaen returned home and he was able to share these words and teach us his gifts of linguistic diplomacy. My own version of smack talk seems not reach these levels of eloquence and communication. So far I have linked the war targets the Mortal Kombat theme song as people engaged in station games and Weird Al's White and Nerdy. Later, after Diz chased someone down it was Donna Summers. I also had a discussion about nail polish. Mostly, of late, I have had to work from keeping the super celebrity, Wex Manchester from being over run and dragged off by his adoring fans.

    1. Back damn fan back! To the other side of the ropes with you! He is not to be scuffed or damaged but admired. Not pawed and spots worn away but appreciated and admired from a respectable distance! Gah. It's exhausting running 24/7 security around Wex.

Maybe one day!

It was a random question that I knew the answer of. I have 'Sugar' as a keyword so it highlights green and catches my attention. This made me chuckle. Maybe I'll have to go and see what it is like to shoot a ship one day? I could not help but smile. Basi suggested that I put my Titan killmail in my bio and assert my badassery. I figure, naw. It was a roll of the dice that landed me that kill mail. It doesn't define me as a person. Bios are interesting. The idea of a biography is a way to personalize your account. You can learn a lot about a person by what they choose to put in their bio

Taboo Questions

Let us talk contentious things. What about high sec? When will CCP pay attention to high sec and those that cannot spend their time in dangerous space?  This is somewhat how the day started, sparked by a question from an anonymous poster. Speaking about high sec, in general, is one of the hardest things to do. The amount of emotion wrapped around the topic is staggering. There are people who want to stay in high sec and nothing will make them leave. There are people who want no one to stay in high sec and wish to cripple everything about it. There are people in between, but the two extremes are large and emotional in discussion. My belief is simple. If a player wishes to live in high sec, I do not believe that anything will make them leave that is not their own curiosity. I do not believe that we can beat people out of high sec or destroy it until they go to other areas of space. Sometimes, I think we forget that every player has the option to not log back in. We want them to log

And back again

My very slow wormhole adventure continues almost as slowly as I am terminating my island in Animal Crossing.  My class 3 wormhole was not where I wanted to be. I was looking for a class 1 or 2 wormhole. I dropped my probes and with much less confusion scanned another wormhole. I remembered to dscan and collect my probes as I warped to the wormhole. I even remembered to drop a bookmark, wormholes being such good bookmark locations later. My wormhole told me it was a route into low sec. I tilted my head. How circular do our adventures go. Today might be the day to die and that too is okay. That mantra dances in the back of my head these days. Even if someone mocks me, what does that matter? Fattening someone's killboard is their issue not mine. So I jumped through and found myself in Efa in Khanid, tucked on the edge of high sec and null sec. What an interesting little system.  Several connections to high sec. A connection to null sec. This must be quite the traffic system.    I am f
